FINTIRI COMPENSATES ADAMAWA WORKERS THAT VOTED FOR HIM WITH SACK- GROUP

The secretary Adamawa First Initiative, Mr Ibrahim Luka has condemned in strong term the action of Adamawa State governor, Umaru Fintiri for taken his disdain for Bindow too far by resulting to compensate local government workers that voted for him in 2019 with sack

 

Ibrahim told this new medium that: “Our attention has been drawn to the recent statement credited to Adamawa governor Umaru Fintiri that local government staff employed from April 2016 should be sack as their employment did not follow due process, it is a pity that Fintiri led assembly that orchestrated the removal of Nyako from office in 2014 without due process could hurriedly witch hunt Senator Bindow through trying everything humanly possible to reverse all the action of Senator Bindow as governor of the state is regrettable and barbaric

 

It beats one imagination that Fintiri that promised Adamawa workers with fresh air could result to putting the people through hot air that has become unbearable for the entire people of Adamawa, how do you start governance with this attitude of firing those that opposed Bindow that gave them employment to vote for you due to the high heaven promise you made to them

 

The ill advice sacking of the local government workers should be reversed immediately or we shut down the state with protest from next week, the leadership of NLC, TUC and NUT in Adamawa state has betrayed the mandate of protecting the workers interest bestowed on them by their colleagues in Adamawa, if not how can the likes of Roodney of the NUT, Emmanuel Fashe of the NLC sit on the fence to watch Fintiri continue in his vendetta bid to reverse all the action of Senator as governor of Adamawa state which affect the workers interest that they are leading as labour leaders?

 

The labour leaders in Adamawa should be held responsible for Fintri’s way of compensating those that voted for him with sack, it is laughable that the governor who claims to give free education to children could make uturn to sack parents of those he claim he gave free education to, how can you sack people that have been on salary role of the state government since four years ago over frivolous excuse of no following due process?

 

We are calling on the national leadership of PDP to call Gov. Fintiri to order as governance is not achieved through vindictiveness or propaganda, nothing as ever follow due process, even the sales of highland tea in 2014 did not follow due process but Bindow did not reverse it” the group opined
