Gombe State to Partner NIGCOMSAT for Maximum Benefit
The Gombe State government has declared its readiness to utilize the services of the NigComSat 1R to the benefit of the state. The Hon. Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari stated this when she paid an on the spot visit to NIGCOMSAT Ltd.
Dr. Maigari who was visibly elated on the presentation by the NIGCOMSAT team, expressed optimism to use the NIGCOMSAT Ltd high tech Innovations and facility for the standardization of all Technological inputs within all its ministry and schools.
‘We are using NIGCOMSAT as a starting point and l want to assure you that by the time we are done, voters will come for us and not reverse as the case’, said the Commissioner.
She said the present administration in Gombe state believes in continuity in governance and will work hard towards changing the lives of the common man in the state.
‘And these are the benefits of democracy which we will deliver to the people to change and alleviate poverty in the state’, she added. Earlier, while receiving the Hon. Commissioner, the Managing Director, Abimbola Alale (Ph.D.), who was represented by the Executive Director Marketing and Business Development,
Dr. Najeem Salaam described NIGCOMSAT Ltd as a low hanging fruit ready to be pluck. The Managing Director called on Gombe state government to use the opportunity to ensure that the state benefits from the abundance of NIGCOMSAT Ltd technology hub.
