Buhari, not Binani responsible for Ramadan palliatives -Dr. Bappare Mohammed

A chieftain of the All progressives Congress, APC in Adamawa, has said that the recent food items distributed to Muslims faithful in the state are a donation from President Muhammed Buhari through the Northeast development commission, not Sen. Aishatu Binani.

Bappare, in a statement he signed on Sunday, flayed Aishatu Binani for showcasing to the public as if she is responsible for the recent rice distribution in the state, not Buhari.

“We watch with utmost dismayed how the senator. representing Adamawa central in the red chamber flaunt bags of rice penultimate Thursday as if it is her empowerment she was distbuting to the people”.

“We want to use this opportunity to set the records straight that Aishatu Binani was only a committee member nominated by the NEDC to distribute the food items as the items distributed has no affiliation to Banani.

“We saw the excitement in the eyes of the senator during the distribution of the food items as we are urging her to emulate the president if she loves the people of Adamawa central not hiding under NEDC items to showcase her benevolence nature in Public, Bappare said
