Obituary: Adamawa RIFAN Boss, Stephen Maduwa loses mother

Mrs Anna Maduwa, mother of Stephen Maduwa, the Adamawa state RIFAN Boss is dead.

THE FINDER learnt about the death of the deceased on Tuesday.

 

Although details of the deceased’s death are still sketchy, our correspondent learnt that the deceased was a member of the Catholic Church.

 

Our correspondent gathered that the deceased is a native of Michika local government of Adamawa state.

 

Dr Stephen Maduwa, the Adamawa RIFAN chairman, confirmed the deceased’s death to THE FINDER on Tuesday.

 

“Yes. It is true. It is true,” he told our correspondent.

“we lost our beloved mother this afternoon at the age of 106 years”.

 

Mrs. Anna Maduwa is survived by 4 children; Alh. Umaru Maduwa, Mrs Kwanye Maduwa, Mrs Augustine Maduwa and Dr. Stephen Maduwa.

She also has 39 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

Service of songs tomorrow at St. Anne’s Catholic Church Michika, interment follows immediately.
