Governor Fintiri names two Adamawa Finest as SSG and Chief of Staff – Adamawa Rebirth.

Adamawa Rebirth, an Atiku and Fintiri support group, congratulates Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the appointment of two of Adamawa State’s finest as SSG and COS, respectively.

In a statement published by its chairman, Esv. Thomas T. Madi, the group commended the governor for choosing Awwal Tukur as secretary to the state government and Dr. Amos Edgar as chief of staff.

“Today has gone down in Adamawa state history as the governor appointed two of our finest as SSG and Chief of Staff,” Madi said. The onerous task imposed on Mesrrs Tukur and Amos is undeniably great, yet with their experience, the work is manageable.

“The appointments of the SSG and Chief of Staff exceeded our expectations, and the governor’s much-needed policy direction for the next four years will see tremendous change, as we all know the ability of the SSG and Chief of Staff.”

On behalf of the Adamawa Pension Board and Adamawa Rebirth, we commend the governor for this initiative, which has been lauded even by his opponents.

Finally, according to the statement, we are grateful to the governor for reappointing the commissioner of justice, Barr. A.K. Jingi.
