G-20 Summit: Indian community lauds Modi’s invitation to Tinubu.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been praised by the Indian diaspora in Nigeria for inviting President Bola Tinubu to the G-20 conference now taking place in New Delhi.
In a statement, AACD President Mr. Sanjay Srivastava praised Mr. Pravin Kumar, the organization’s General Secretary, for making the effort to attend the crucial conference.
Srivastava, who is also the President of the People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria, commended Modi for enshrining the African Union as a permanent member of the G-20.
He said that this was a positive development since it would open the door for Africans to provide long-term solutions to the world economy.
Tinubu has revealed that this step will help construct a fair global order and promote inclusion.
Srivastava added, “Nigeria’s move to join will be highly beneficial, especially since South Africa is the only African member of the group of the world’s 20 most industrialised nations.
The Indian community in Nigeria applauds this move, as it would pave the way for a brighter future for all G-20 members.Because of this, Nigerians would be in a position to make significant contributions towards creating a more just global society.
