It’s time to band together in support of Tinubu-Buratai.
Gen. Tukur Buratai, a former Chief of Army Staff and Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, has urged Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
Buratai made the plea in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Tinubu’s election as the legitimately elected president in the February 25 presidential election.
In a momentous milestone, he added, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu, dismissing the allegations of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party.
According to him, the decision shows that the court found value in the reasons advanced by the APC and President Tinubu.
“The judgement has huge political ramifications, potentially determining future policies and governance under President Tinubu’s leadership.”
“I am urge all Nigerians, particularly politicians, to respectfully accept the Supreme Court’s decision and support President Tinubu.”
“It is critical for the nation’s stability and progress that we unite behind our elected leader.”
“By putting aside personal and political differences, we can work together to improve our country,” he remarked.
Buratai stated that President Tinubu’s success in leading Nigeria would rely heavily on the participation and collaboration of persons of all political stripes.
He stated that only through unity and a single vision can the country face the difficulties and opportunities that lie ahead.
Under President Tinubu’s leadership, the former army commander urged Nigerians to strive for a successful and harmonious Nigeria.
According to him, President Tinubu has been given a critical opportunity to lead Nigeria into a bright future.
He stated that the president must remain steadfast and unyielding in his commitment to pursuing his renewed hope programme.
“The road ahead may be difficult, but President Tinubu must remain focused and concentrate his efforts on bringing about constructive change in Nigeria.”
“By focusing on key problems such as economic development, social welfare, and good governance, President Tinubu has the capacity to make a long-term difference in Nigerians’ lives.”
“With determination and careful planning, he may contribute to the nation’s advancement and prosperity.”
“I hope President Tinubu seizes this chance with devotion and perseverance, always keeping the best interests of the Nigerian people in mind,” Buratai concluded.
