Nwonyo Fishing Festival: Governor Kefas Agbu constitutes 18-member committee
The Taraba State Governor, Kefas Agbu, has formed an 18-man committee to help organise the next fishing festival.
According to Yusuf Sanda, the governor’s press secretary, this step indicates the governor’s dedication to developing the region’s cultural legacy and economic potential.
“Because the fishing festival is a major event on the local calendar, forming an organised committee is critical to its success.” The governor’s formation of an 18-person team demonstrates his strategic approach to festival management.
“By picking a wide set of people, he has ensured that the committee is made up of experienced professionals from a variety of key sectors.”
According to him, this inclusive approach will bring numerous viewpoints and skills, allowing the committee to successfully address all facets of the festival’s planning and implementation.
