Businessman Femi Otedola bribed former House of Representatives member Farouk Lawan with half a million dollars, and the Supreme Court has confirmed Lawan’s five-year prison term.

In 2012, while lawmakers investigated the fuel subsidy scheme, Lawan was on trial for accepting a bribe of half a million dollars.
