Tinubu,governors convene for emergency meeting to discuss economic turmoil.

Currently, President Bola Tinubu is holding a meeting with the federation’s governors at Abuja’s Council Chambers of the State House.

At the gathering, which started at approximately 11:30 a.m., Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC), and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun are also there.

A number of national issues, including food inflation, food insecurity, and other economic worries, are relevant to the gathering.

Vice President Shettima will preside over the monthly National Economic Council (NEC) meeting that follows this meeting.
