Governor Fintiri applauds Hapsat’s nomination as CEO of the NFIU.
The governor of Adamawa state, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has congratulated Hapsat Bakari, the recently appointed chief executive officer of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU).
Governor Fintiri lauded Hapsat as a “qualified and forthright public servant who has worked tirelessly over the years, making a difference in service,” and congratulated her on her well-deserved position. The statement was issued by his principal press secretary, Humwashi Wonosoiku.
As Hapsat takes over the National Financial Investigations Unit (NFIU), he praises her administrative abilities, which she honed while working at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and other institutions. He encouraged her to continue serving the country with utmost sincerity.
The governor praised President Bola Tinubu’s nomination of Hapsat Bakari to lead the panel, describing him as a patriotic Nigerian who has tremendously contributed to Adamawa State’s prosperity and development.
Bakari has extensive experience in financial intelligence, anti-money laundering, and counterterrorism/proliferation.
