AUN President praises Governor Fintiri’s developmental strides; says his performances are unprecedented.
Despite the global economic crisis, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has made remarkable developmental gains, according to Professor DeWayne P. Frazier, president of the American University of Nigeria (AUN).
As part of his speech to the governor during his courtesy visit to Government House Yola, Professor Frazier expressed his admiration.
He said that under Governor Fintiri’s watch, Adamawa has seen enormous improvements, especially in the realms of safety, transportation, schools, and medical treatment.
He insisted that the governor’s sparkling initiatives dot the state and will captivate everyone driving through. As part of his service to the state’s citizens, Professor Frazier offered to collaborate with governmental agencies to improve education and training.
He extended his gratitude to Governor Fintiri for his assistance to the AUN community and pledged to do the same. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was pleased by the visit, he said,
“They are prepared to receive the blueprint for how they will launch the programmes, he added, and he thanked the president for the offer of collaboration, especially in the fields of scholarship and business.
Any group or person eager to invest in the state will find an accommodating atmosphere, Fintiri reaffirmed, thanks to his administration’s efforts.
He assured the group that “Adamawa State is safe for investment,” and he extended an invitation to anybody—including potential investors from other countries—who would help bring about development in the state.
The exchange of presents with the governor was the most memorable part of the visit.
