President AGN expresses gratitude to Tinubu for his support of Zack Orji’s rehabilitation.
Nigerian Actors Guild National President Emeka Rollas has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his encouragement of renowned actor Zack Orji’s rehabilitation as he undergoes post-operative evaluation in the United Kingdom.
This was revealed by Rollas in a statement that Femi Durojaiye, the Senior Special Adviser Media/Press Secretary of the Guild, posted on Saturday via Instagram.
In a statement, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, conveyed the guild’s gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for taking a fatherly approach to the health of Mr. Zack Orji, the former president of the guild, who is currently undergoing post-surgery evaluation in the United Kingdom.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, and President Seyi Tinubu’s son, were both lauded by Dr. Rollas for their maternal care and support of the legendary actor.
In addition, the statement acknowledged the assistance of Uju Kennedy, Minister for Women Affairs, and Ahmed Bala, Orji’s longstanding companion, for their “undying endeavours to ensure Zack Orji recovers” and “for standing with him throughout the period.”
On top of that, Rollas praised Tinubu for all he had done to support the arts and entertainment sector.
“We found it necessary to appreciate President Tinubu because we have witnessed his unprecedented support for the creative industry. His determination to uplift the sector to be more relevant and beneficial to both practitioners and the national economy has been clearly demonstrated.”
On Thursday, the president of AGN confirmed that Nollywood actor Orji had two brain surgeries, both of which were successful, and denied reports that the actor had died.
