Tinubu To Reshuffle Cabinet, Says Presidency

A desire to reorganise his cabinet has been voiced by President Bola Tinubu.

This was confirmed to reporters from the State House by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Advisor to the President on Information and Strategy.

People in the public don’t know about the substantial accomplishments the present administration has made in its effort to revamp the economy, he said, despite claims to the contrary.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu has instructed his ministers to reach out to the people by sharing information about the government’s initiatives.

“I don’t have any timeline,” he stated. It is the president’s intention to reorganise his cabinet, as he has previously stated. He will definitely do it before October 1st, but I’m not sure if he wants to.

The choice made by Tinubu is supported by evidence, according to O’tega Ogra, who is the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Strategy Engagement and Communications.

According to Ogra, President Tinubu made it plain during the ministers’ retreat in August 2023—not long after their inauguration—that the president would base his decisions on periodic evaluations of their performance.
