Governor Fintiri extends condolences to Senator Zwingina’s family
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State expresses condolences to the family of later Senator Silas Zwingina following the death of a former senator representing Adamawa South in the Senate on October 2, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the governor’s chief press secretary, Humwashi Wonosoiku, Governor Fintiri expresses his condolences to the late senator’s family and extended family on the passing of the renowned politician and administrator who was a tireless advocate for the poor and vulnerable.
Governor Fintiri said we will always remember Senator Zwingina’s significant contributions to the red carpet and advocacy for peaceful and participatory development.
Senator Zwingina represented Adamawa South in the 6th Senate.
The Governor feels that the visionary leader, a pioneer senator from Adamawa South, lived for the sake of people and society.
Governor Fintiri prays that God would accept the soul of the deceased leader and console his family.
