PDP Suspends National Publicity Secretary, Legal Adviser Over Alleged Misconduct
Debo Ologunagba, national publicity secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Kamaldeen Ajibade, national legal adviser, have been suspended from their positions by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) due to charges of wrongdoing.
According to a statement signed by Chinwe Nnorom, the PDP National Director of Publicity, the suspended officers would be investigated by a disciplinary committee appointed by the PDP national working committee, with Taofeek Arapaja serving as the body’s chairman.
The two officers’ respective deputy chiefs are also ordered to take over as acting chiefs immediately after the suspension.
Claims of betrayal and disobedience led to the suspension of the two individuals, according to the statement.
