Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri signs 2025 appropriations bill into law.

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has signed the 2025 budget estimation bill into law. Fintiri signed the paper during a special ceremony in his office in Yola’s Government House.

Governor Fintiri speaks at the event, emphasising his administration’s dedication to improve the state. He mentioned that his ambition is to make Adamawa State one of the top five most developed states in the country.

He stated that they are already working on the trajectory, using their eight-point agenda as outlined in their campaign commitments. He vowed that they will work tirelessly to meet the budget while guaranteeing the judicious use and accounting of any generated funds.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked members of the State House of Assembly for their support and prompt passage of the budget into law.

While thanking God for the success of the 2024 year, the governor requested additional support for the national administration so that they may reach their full potential for the country, despite the temporary pain caused by some of their excruciating measures.

He praised state people for their support of his administration and asked for additional prayers and support in 2025 to help the state reach greater heights.

Governor Fintiri also complimented the press on their understanding and great reporting, underlining the significance of this gesture.

However, he warned some unscrupulous individuals masquerading as members of the media to avoid promoting fake news, which poses major risks to society development.

Our correspondent who covered the occasion noted that the signing ceremony was attended by the State’s Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Bathiya Wesley, and some high-ranking officials.
