Fintiri dissolves 50 local govt development area administrator
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sanctioned the dissolution of the 50 Development Area Administrators throughout the State.
The important administrative decision is now in effect without delay.
The state comprises 50 local government development areas.
A statement released Thursday by the chief press secretary to the governor, Humwashi Wonosoiku, indicates that the dissolved administrators are required to transfer the affairs, documents, and properties of their respective areas to the most senior staff members.
Governor Fintiri extends his sincere appreciation to the departing administrators for their significant contributions to his administration. He recognises their dedication and commitment, referring to them as “great motivators” who have been instrumental in advancing grassroots development.
The announcement indicated that the dissolution would take effect immediately, but it did not provide any rationale for the governor’s decision.
The statement indicated that the local government development administrators are to transfer responsibilities to the most senior officials within their respective councils.
