NNPCL shuts down Port Harcourt refinery for maintenance.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced a planned maintenance stoppage for the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC).

The regular maintenance and sustainability evaluation will begin today, according to Olufemi O. Soneye, NNPC Ltd’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer.

He stated that the NNPCL is collaborating closely with all key parties, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure that maintenance and assessment tasks are completed effectively and transparently.

The statement said, “NNPC Ltd is resolute in its commitment to achieving sustained energy security for Nigeria. Further updates will be made available on a regular basis through our official channels, which include our website, media platforms, and public announcements.”
