Rivers administrator appoints 11 new permanent secs.

Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, Rivers State’s sole administrator, has nominated 11 new permanent secretaries.

A special government statement in Port Harcourt on Tuesday revealed the nomination.

Rivers State’s Acting Head of Service, Dr. Mrs. Inyingi Brown, signed the three-paragraph statement and distributed it to journalists.

The announcement stated that the sole administrator would swear in the newly chosen permanent secretaries at a later date.

The statement states, “His Excellency, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (retd), the Administrator of Rivers State, has approved the appointment of the individuals mentioned below as permanent secretaries.

“They include Imaonyani Roselin Ephraim-George, Dr. Mina T. Ikuru, Dabite Sokari George, Soibitein Duke Harry, Lauretta Davies Dimkpa, Uche R. Ideozu, Chimenum Mpi, Jeremiah Egwu, Nicholas Iminabo Wokoma, Vera Sam Dike, and Aleruchi Akani.”

“The newly appointed permanent secretaries will be sworn in by His Excellency, the Administrator of Rivers State, on a date to be announced.”
