Dangote Refinery Offers Marketers Free Delivery of Petrol, Diesel
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced the free delivery of fuel and diesel to marketers, dealers, and other significant users around the country.
The Lagos-based refinery said on Sunday that the effort will begin on August 15, 2025.
The refinery also announced that it has purchased 4,000 brand-new compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered tankers to kick off the operation.
“In addition, the refinery will offer a credit facility to those purchasing a minimum of 500,000 liters—allowing them to obtain an additional 500,000 liters on credit for two weeks under bank guarantee,” the statement added.
The refinery stated that it has also invested in compressed natural gas (CNG) stations, also known as daughter booster stations, which are supported by a fleet of over 100 CNG tankers across the country to enable continuous product distribution.
“This strategic plan is part of our larger commitment to reducing logistical costs, increasing energy efficiency, promoting sustainability, and assisting Nigeria’s economic development.
“It is expected to revitalize previously inactive petrol stations, resulting in job creation, stimulating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), increasing government revenue, improving fuel access in rural and underserved communities, and boosting investor confidence in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
“This pioneering endeavor represents a significant milestone in our aim to transform Nigeria’s energy sector.”
“Dangote Refinery is committed to ensuring that no location is left behind. Our goal is to provide equitable access to affordable fuel for all Nigerians, regardless of location, making energy more accessible and sustainable for everyone, no matter where they are,” the refinery stated.
