Tinubu signs four tax bills into law.

President Bola Tinubu has signed four tax reform laws recently passed by the National Assembly.

The National Assembly leadership, as well as certain legislators, governors, ministries, and the president’s advisers, attended the brief ceremony held on Thursday at the Presidential Villa.

The National Assembly enacted four bills: the Nigeria Tax Bill, the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill, and the Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Bill, after lengthy deliberations with various stakeholders.

According to the president, the new tax rules will drastically reform the country’s tax administration, resulting in higher income, a better business environment, and an increase in domestic and foreign investment.
