Fintiri hands more patrol vehicles to security agencies

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has handed over another batch of operational vehicles to security agencies as part of his administration’s renewed push to strengthen law-enforcement capabilities across the state.

The governor, who supervised the presentation at Government House, Yola, said the vehicles would enhance rapid response, improve patrol coverage and support the ongoing campaign against banditry, kidnapping and communal unrest.

Fintiri noted that his government “will not relent in giving security agencies everything they need to keep Adamawa safe,” stressing that residents deserve full protection as the festive season approaches.

The fresh donation adds to several previous interventions, including procurement of communication gadgets, logistics support and refurbishing of existing fleets.

Security commanders at the event commended the governor’s efforts, describing the new vehicles as a major boost that will improve mobility, surveillance and coordination in troubled areas.

Fintiri urged the agencies to deploy the vehicles strictly for operational duties, warning against misuse or diversion. He added that his administration remains committed to partnering with all security outfits to maintain peace and stability across Adamawa State.
