Strong indication emerged, on Sunday, that the pioneer chairman of Efcc, Nuhu Ribadu, might have shelved his gubernatorial ambition.
A source, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Adamawa Central senatorial district, informed THE FINDER NEWSPAPER, that Nuhu who had earlier declared his intention to run for the office of the Governor, Adamawa State, at the last minute, dropped the ambition.
According to the party chieftain, who preferred anonymity, Nuhu Ribadu actually obtained the expression of interest and nomination forms for the position, but sensing defeat and ominous signs he decided to drop his ambition, and make people believe that he is stepping down for Bindow.
This, the source hinted, has left the position open for Gov. Bindow, the incumbent Governor to feast on Modi.
Any moment from now Nuhu will announce his decision the source told this news medium.
