The Adamawa Youths for Change, AYC, on Wednesday revealed how the All Progressives Congress, APC, Panel intends to rig the thursday’s governorship primary election in Adamawa State.
The Group said the APC intends to rig the primary election by deploying bring in a new party register and to bring 21 man panel to mount the 21 Local Government Areas of the state to coordinate their plot.
A statement by its spokesperson, Pwanovi said the plot will begin by changing the current commissioner of Police in Adamawa and to seal the party secretariat, so that the 21 man NWC delegation will writes results from their hiding, we have it on good authority that the NWC panel were under stem instruction to rig out Bindow in tomorrow’s election, we are calling on Bindow to be firmed tomorrow like Abdul-Aziz Yari of Zamfara, Rochas Okorocha, Amosun Ibikunle of Ogun and Abubakar of Bauchi, if not the plan to rig him out is already perfected. The 21 man delegation deployed to the state were allegedly “compromised” with the aim of rigging the primary election.
“We are also not unaware that the stage is being set for the APC to use Paanel to announce a pre-determined result in Adamawa State Apc governorship primary.
“Let the world know that the people of Adamawa State cannot be cowed or frightened and that they are not ready or willing to allow anybody to subvert their determined will to elect a leader of their choice.
“We want all to know that Adamawa people are fully determined to take their destiny in their hands on tomorrow being October 4th and no bullet or oppressor’s whip can stop them. They are fully ready now, more than ever before, to face all threats and harassment and to resist any attempt to forcefully take over their state.
“It is a settled fact that Adamawa State is a well-known stronghold of the Apc under Bindow and we will not, in anyway, accept anything short of free, fair and credible election, abundantly reflecting the will of the people. Anything to the contrary might attract very terrible consequences.”
