Bindow will be return for second term in office- Prof. Farauta

The Vice Chancellor of the Adamawa State University, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, has expressed optimism that incumbent Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Mohammed Umar Jibrilla will retain his seat as Executive Governor of the state. Professor Farauta stated this in an interview with the Finder Newspaper correspondent after she casted her vote in Numan.

 

She noted that “as you can see for yourself everything is going on normal, there is no problem. Both electorates and INEC staff are conducting their selves well and securities personnel are also on ground to forestall any break down of law and order, so everything is normal,” she said.

 

While reacting on the low turnout of the elections compared to the previous Presidential and National Assemblies election, the VC boasted that whatever will be the cause of the low turnout, believed Governor Bindow will win the elections because of what he has done for the state and the eagerness of the people to return him back to power to enable him continue with the good work he has started for the state.

 

On any sign of breakdown of law and order after the elections, she said she foresee violence free post election even as she cautioned the people most especially the youths to shun any act that can cause confusion in the state.
