BINDOW CONDEMNS ATTACK ON MADAGALI VILLAGE COMMISERATES WITH VICTIMS

The Adamawa State Governor, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has called on the security agencies to step up effort and come up with a lasting solution to the incessant Boko Haram attacks in the Northern part of the state.

He made the call in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Press and Media Affairs, Martins Dickson, in response to the attack on  kudakaya village of Madagali Local Government Area of the State Monday night.

 

“The security agencies must find a way of stopping completely, the hit and run style adopted by the attackers in which they raid defenseless communities killing, maiming people and carting away foodstuffs”.

 

“Since their mode of operation is known, proactive measures should be put in place to ensure that such isolated attacks do not take place”.

 

Bindow acknowledged that the military and other security agencies have been overwhelmed recently by numerous security challenges across the country, but opined that we must not begin to allow a window to falter where successes have been recorded.

 

Senator Bindow commiserates with the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and prayed for quick recovery of the injured, adding that the State Emergency Management Agency have been empowered to carter for those affected in such dire situations.

He also called on residents living in some of these vulnerable communities to be very vigilant and report swiftly any suspicious movement of persons around their communities to forestall this type of attacks In the future.
