Senator Bindow Leads Adamawa Delegation to Felicitate With SGF, Boss Mustapha

The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow on Tuesday 23rd July, 2019 led a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) party Executives, some Elders and stakeholders to congratulate the Secretary to the federal Government, Boss Gida Mustapha on his reappointment.
The delegation consists of the State party chairman, Ibrahim Bilal, former deputy Governor, Hon. MC Tahir, former Special Adviser to the president, Ali Gulak, Senator Jonathan Zwingina, former Secretary to the state Government, Kobis Ari Thimnu, members of the House of Representatives, present and former legislators Commissioners under senator Jibrilla’s administration and state party EXCO.
In his speech Senator Jibrilla says Boss Mustapha have an unequalled attribute and characteristics that has made his reappointment easy. He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for reappointing Boss Mustapha on behalf of the state and the APC family.
Jibrilla says Mustapha loves Adamawa State and has worked tirelessly for the growth and progress of the state.
He thanked the SGF for been a reliable person for everyone wether high or lowly placed. Senator Jibrilla also called for the unity of the APC family in the state.
Alhaji Dahiru Bobbo, while making his remarks says one of the great things Boss Mustapha has brought to the Federal Government is synergy and the ability to coordinate the activities of the federal Government effectively. He also thanked President Buhari for appointing an illustrious son of Adamawa state as Secretary to the federal Government.
Ambassador Fati Balla who also spoke says Boss Mustapha has done so well in his first term and deserves the reappointment he got. She prayed God to strengthen the SGF to do better in his second term.
She called on Boss Mustapha to help open up Adamawa State especially the rail line that will pass through Yola up to Mubi. She also called for the dredging of River Benue so as to open up the State for commercial activities that will transcend beyond Adamawa State.
Senator Jonathan Zwingina says Boss Mustapha has the ability to bring about unity and has used his office to normalize relationship between the executive and legislator and surprisingly still find time to attend to activities at the state and even his constituency.
He called on the APC family not to despair and to take the temporary defeat in the last election as a lesson that calls for unity.
The National Vice chairman North-East of the APC, Comrade Mustapha Saliu, thanked the SGF on behalf of the party for his support both at the national and the state level. He appreciated the SGF for remaining scandal free in office.
While responding, the Secretary to the federal Government, Boss Mustapha, thanked the leader of the delegation for finding it worthy to felicitate with him on his reappointment as the Secretary to the Government of the federation. Mustapha says his success in office is because he was supported and prayed for by the people of Adamawa State.
He added that he is overwhelmed by the statements graciously made about him and he understands that he must remain responsible and to stand to Honour the people of his state and community. He appreciated the kind of people that gathered to felicitate with him.
Mustapha acknowledges the God-factor in his reappointment and asked for more prayers, counsel, advice and support from the people of Adamawa State. He thanked everyone for coming and take everyone home safely.
