Eid-el-Kabir: Bindow felicitates with Muslims, urges harmony, tolerance

The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has felicitated with Muslims over the Eid-el Kabir, urging for the promotion of harmony and tolerance in dealing with one another at all times.

Bindow, in his Sallah message, by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson, also called called on all Muslims to pray fervently for unity, sustained peace and Allah’s intervention in the security challenges facing the country.

 

Senator Jibrilla said the sacrifice which climaxes Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration provides an opportunity for all Muslims to sacrificially pray for a united Adamawa State and the nation at large. “The teachings and lessons of Eid-El-Kabir encourages us to make sacrifices and we must hereby and sacrificially too, tolerate one another, sustain peaceful coexistence and promote togetherness so as to build a state and country that everyone of us desires”.

 

Jibrilla added that “It is time for us to unite and focus on building a state and country that our children will be proud of, a place where we can proudly call home and not be ashamed to invite others to live in and invest” He called on all Adamawa people to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and ask for God’s wisdom as he pilots the affairs of the country, adding that every leader requires divine strength and wisdom so as to lead well.

“I pray earnestly for President Muhammadu Buhari to be endowed with wisdom and Allah’s grace to succeed in taking Nigeria to a place of economic prosperity and safety for all Nigerians”.  He underscored the fact that it is only in the strength of unity that Adamawa state and Nigeria can realize its potential because we are tremendously blessed both in human and natural resources.
