Senator Yaroe flags off free medical outreach to members of his constituency
NO fewer than 10,000 Adamawa South constituents’ members of Senator Binos Yaroe of Adamawa state, have received free treatment and medication at the flag- off of free medical outreach to members of his constituency in Adamawa south of the state.
The free medical programme, organised by the Christian Broadcasting Network and Soteria-Afrique Rural Healthcare Initiative, is targeted at tackling common ailments facing members of his constituency. Dr. Tanemoh Wycliff, who flagged off the programme at Demsa Local government of Adamawa state, disclosed this in an interview with pressmen.
He stated that the essence of their coming was as the result of the benevolence of the Senator representing Adamawa south at the National Assembly, Senator Binos D. Yaroe, who deem it fit to put smile on the faces of the less privilege people of his zone by providing them with free medical service. According to him, the aim at the program is to provide succour to the less privilege people that have been suffering from one ailments to another that do not have access to treatment because of lack of money.
Therefore, he announced that all the services to be rendered will be free of charge and that they are targeting to treat eight to ten thousand people within the lifespan of the program. According to the team leader, the program is being facilitated by two organization namely: Christian Broadcasting Network and Soteria-Afrique Rural Healthcare Initiative but it been sponsored by
Senator Binos D. Yaroe. Maintaining that their team has professionals medical Doctors, Nurses, Counsellors; Pharmacies etc. However, he said if recorded any case beyond their control, will refer it to the Specialist, German hospitals or Federal Medical Centre in the state.
Therefore, he called on the beneficiaries to corporate with their team to make the program a successful one. In his word, Senator Binos D. Yaroe, said the major challenge bedevilling this nation is lack of quality health care service delivery. Therefore, he noted that the reason for this outreach was to ameliorate the suffering and aspiration of his people most especially the less privilege who do not have access to quality health care service.
According to him, the issue of healthcare service delivery is not an issue that can be left to the government along but all hands must be on desk to be addressed. Hence, he stated that as a lawmaker, he will try his best to ensure that sufficient budgetary allocation is made on healthcare in the state. While thanking God for the successful commencement of the program, he said the out was overwhelming because it is more than the expectation.
Therefore, he promised that by the special grace of God the next intervention will be bigger than this as he will bring more Doctors from US and the lifespan of the program will perhaps extend to two weeks.
Thus, he urged the beneficiaries to exercise patient and corporate with the medical team as all the services will be free of charge. Most of the beneficiaries interview, poured encomium on the Senator and pray God to guide, protect and give him more wisdom to represent the zone and the state well at the upper chamber.
