Implement the 33000 naira minimum wage you promise Adamawa workers now, Group tells Fintiri

The chairman Adamawa United for a change has urged Gov. Fintiri led state government in Adamawa state to commence the immediate implementation of the 33000 naira minimum wage he promised Adamawa workers in order to improve the living condition of workers.

Alhaji Musa Dasin in a statement by his media aide, Patrick Silas made call on Monday in an ongoing press conference at Abuja.

He said that Adamawa workers had endured enough hardship owing to the rising cost of living.

He added the speedy implementation of the 33000 minimum wage would give the workers some relief.

“Fintiri promised last time that he will be the first governor to pay the new minimum wage in Nigeria, as will speak now Kaduna state has taken every necessary step to start the payment of the new minimum by September, we are calling on Gov. Fintiri to redeem his promise of paying the 33000 naira minimum wage as further delay will be seen as a government of double standard by the people”
