Family Drags Wakili Usman Shehu to Fintiri over Maiha district head Stool in Adamawa
The family of Mahmud Abubakar Suleiman of Maiha-Jalingo district house in Maiha local government area of Adamawa State has petitioned Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa state over Wakili Usman Shehu alleged breach of existing court judgement regarding the struggle for rightful heirs apparent to the throne of district head of Maiha Jalingo in Adamawa.
In a petition to the governor, a copy obtained by this news medium, Mahmud Abubakar Suleiman admonished governor Fintiri to wade into the matter as Wakili Usman Shehu continue to parade himself in defiant of court judgement

Petition against Wakili Usman Shehu (Idi) For Flagrant Abuse of Court Judgement, Administrative Warning, Arrogance and Calculated Attempt to Cause Mayhem in Jalingo-Maiha District, Adamawa State
With humility and deep sense of responsibility, this is a formal petition against the calculated and mischievous activities of Wakili Usman Shehu (Idi) intended to cause mayhem and disaffection, which would in the long run, culminate into unrest unless the concerned authorities could take the bull by the horns to tackle the impending catastrophy.
It is no longer news that the throne of Jalingo-Maiha District after some ups and downs, has culminated into a suit file in the High Court for interpretation of the real position of the law. In a declaratory judgement of July 13, 2018 of the High Court of Justice Adamawa State suit No: ADSY/111/2917.
The Court in its wisdom has declared the purported appointment of Wakili Usman Shehu as District Head of Jalingo-Maiha District as null and void, and same court in granting one of the prayers before it declared me Mahmud Abubakar Suleiman as the proper person to be the District Head of Jalingo-Maiha District. The court judgement is herewith attached.
As the above not enough, the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in a letter to the said Wakili Usman Shehu to stop parading himself as the District Head of Jalingo-Maiha District. The said letter is herewith attached.
Despite the above concrete and strong warning by the legally constituted authorities, the former, nullifying the appointment of the said Wakili Usman Shehu and the latter warning him to stop parading himself as the District Head of Jalingo-Maiha District the said Wakili Usman Shehu openly abuse, and flaunt such orders and directives as if he is a monk who is above the law.
Let me cease this singular honour and privilege to make this point emphatically clear that as at today the 28th Day of August, 2019, Wakili Usman Shehu Idi by law is not the District Head of Jalingo-Maiha District and according to court judgement any right or privilege to that office is ultra-vires, null and void- including allowing him to attend local government security meetings and receiving allowances thereof.
Your Excellency Sir, I appeal to you to wade into this matter as the chief law officer of the state to called to order Wakili Usman Shehu from parading himself in defiant of court judgment , Sir kindly use your good office to restore sanity in Maiha district.

Despite the subsisting court judgement declaring Mahmud Suleiman Abubakar as the right heir to the throne of district head of maiha, Wakili Usman Shehu Idi continued to act as district head without recourse to the court judgment on the issue that has not been set aside by the appellate court. Mahmud Suleimen prayed Gov. Fintiri, in the interest of justice, to call Wakili Shehu to order and subsequent parading himself as district head while the suit is still pending before the court of appeal.
