Justice Ankar Abdulaziz of the Federal High Court sitting in Yola, Adamawa, on Thursday, October 3, 2019, adjourned further hearing in a 250 million naira fraud case involving a former Vice Chancellor of Adamawa state University, Mubi, Prof. Joshua Shall and others to October 10, 2019.

Prof. Joshua Shall is standing trial alongside a former Bursar of the University, Mr. Kumthy Ezra Anjili, on an 11-count charge bordering on money laundering and stealing to the tune of N245 million naira.

At today’s sitting, counsel to Kumthy Ezra Anjili, informed the court of the absence of his client, Kumthy Ezra Anjili, the second defendant.

He also sought the leave of the court to adjourn the case since his client was not aware of the earlier resume date given by the court.

Consequently, Justice Anka adjourned the matter to October 10, 2019 for a continuation of trial.
