Nobody Can Erode Bindow Legacies in Adamawa – Apc
*Loan is the only achievements of PDP in Adamawa; As no physical development on ground for the people to see -Lawal
The All progressive Congress in Adamawa (APC) has said attempts by some agents of destabilisation to rubbish Bindow achievements during his tenure as governor of Adamawa State will fail.
The organising secretary of APC in Adamawa, Ahmed Lawal described as falsehood claims by Fintiri’s government that they inherited a fail state from Bindow and the APC.
He added that most of projects inherited from Bindow by Fintiri has been abandoned since Bindow left office some months ago, but the failure of his successor, Umaru Fintiri to continue with the projects led to severe flooding witnessed in the state recently.
“Bindow is no longer governor of Adamawa State; he would have seen to the end of all the projects Fintiri administration inherited from Bindow and fail to attend to, if he were still in office, but as you know he has successfully completed his four years in office. Bindow has laid a foundation for new Adamawa and not even with PDP propaganda that will rubbish it.
“The truth is that the ordinary politician who wants to be praised on a daily basis will not embark on such capital intensive projects embarked on by Bindow’s Administration, because they are face lift projects. But, Bindow decided to take the bull by the horns due to the cries of the people of Adamawa for a new Adamawa. “So, I feel sad when I read comments by some uninformed persons and mischief makers making frantic efforts to turn the truth upside down in the name of politics.
“Few people, due to their selfish and wicked interests, have embarked on campaigns of calumny against Bindow administration; sponsoring their social media boys, to misinform the people, but I can tell you that darkness can never over shadow light.
“No matter how much they try, Adamawa people are proud of what God used Bindow to achieve in Adamawa state, and nobody can erode those laudable legacies of Bindow, no matter how hard they try,” he said.
Ahmed Lawal was reacting to statement credited to Mr. Solomon Kummangar, Director General to Gov. Fintiri on media where he was quoted to have told newsmen that “Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has extended hands of fellowship to APC and other opposition parties in the state join hands with him and the PDP led administration in revamping the battered fortunes of Adamawa”
