Bindow condoles LCCN over Pastor’s death

A former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has expressed condolence to family of late Pastor Dennis Bagauri, the Bishop and entire membership of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN). Pastor Dennis Bagauri was killed by gunmen at his residence in Mayobelwa.

The former governor’s condolence message is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Martins Dickson.

Dickson quoted Senator Bindow as saying: “I received the news of the death of Pastor Dennis Bagauri, with a heavy heart. It is very touching to lose such a personal aide of many years. Senator Bindow prayed for the repose of the soul of late pastor Dennis Bagauri who served as his Senior Special Assistant on religious matters.

Senator Bindow described the late Bagauri as a man who fears God and always upholds the truth. He called on security agencies in the state to step up their tactics and intelligence gathering adding that another mindless death will be one too many. He decried the increased level of insecurity in the state where innocent persons are daily been kidnapped or killed in their homes.

“The Government and security agencies must synergize and put in more effort to stop these ugly and unbearable trends, protecting the lives and property of the people must be reprioritized”.  Senator Bindow prayed God to give the deceased, befitting rest in heaven.
