APC Stalwart, Dares Fintiri to publish Adamawa debt profile, insist Adamawa benefitted from FG palliatives
A former Vice chairman, northeast of the All progressive congress, Umar Duhu has dared the ruling people’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Adamawa state to release Adamawa state debt profile following the recent claim by Gov. Fintiri that the state is paying 1.1 billion naira monthly due to the loan collected by his predecessor, Sen. Jibrilla Bindow.
Mr Duhu, who described the Fintiri’ loan claim as an entertainment to the state, took to his official face book page to call out the governor.
Earlier, the Fintiri led state government has severally claimed that they paid over a billion naira monthly to repay loans collected by thr Bindow’s administration, a claim The Finder fact check fault in its entirety as documents from the Federal ministry of finance show that no state of the federation pay over a billion naira as claim by the Adamawa state government, Duhu described the debt profile claim by the Fintiri’s administration as a jamboree and an alibi by a government that has fail in all aspect of governance.
Duhu in his reaction dismissed the threat by the Fintiri’s apologist to retract his petition to the senate, describing it as “hollow and laughable”.
Mr Duhu stated that the loan excuse put forward by Fintiri for his non-performance since his inauguration as governor of the state amounts to a cheap blackmail and that none of his claim has cogent reason for his failure as governor.
The APC stalwart said Fintiri’s government did so to divert attention from the 9.9 billion naira loan collected and lack of any tangible capital project since he was sworn into office.
“This is a government that is yet to account for 9.9 billion naira they took in the name of building 2000 housing units for workers, as for the local government autonomy, President Buhari deserve commendation not Fintiri as it was the FG that insist the local council must be autonomous.
The APC stalwart further vowed that he “will no longer hold back but appropriately commence a serialisation of all looters hiding in PDP in Adamawa state”.
Duhu made further clearance regarding his earlier accusation of diversion of palliatives by the governor.

The Rice distributed to LGA’s was sent to Adamawa State by NCS and was initially meant for IDP’s. So, where did they get to buy the rice they distributed aside the one sent by FGN through NCS to the IDP’s in Adamawa State, which they are now playing politics with it?
- I challenge the Adamawa state government to publish the debt profile of Adamawa State to ascertain who borrowed what? The records at our disposal suggest that, Adamawa was not on the chat of 10 most indebted states in Nigeria.
- I equally challege them also publish the roads they are constructing in 21 LGA’s of the State?
- Local Government autonomy was guaranteed Nationwide by PMB; they have no right to claim this credit.
- Adamawa State cannot even pay Local Government salaries after several illegal deductions by the State Government. They always resort to cutting the allocations of Fufore and others, to pay Madagali and others.
- They sacked over 10,000 Civil Servants, where has their salaries diverted to?
Let them make do with this in the first instance, while I continue to pursue relevance as posited?
