Covid 19: Fintiri locks down Adamawa

Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state on Friday ordered lock down of Adamawa state to check the spread of COVID-19.

Fintiri in a statement by his media, Solomon Kummangar, said the lockdown, which would begin at 11:59pm on Friday, would be for an initial period of 14 days.

He said during the lockdown residents of the state should stay at home.

The governor said this just as COVID-19 cases in the country increased as Adamawa record index case.
