Breaking News: Fintiri makes history as the first Adamawa governor to take about 30 billion naira loans in less than a year in office.

History has been made today in Adamawa state, as Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approached the Adamawa state house of assembly for another 17 billion naira loan despite not utilising the 9.9 billion naira loan earlier approved by the Adamawa state house of assembly several months ago.

It is on record that no Adamawa state governor from 1999 till 2019 has requested for about 30 billion naira loan in less than a year in office.

The finder reports how Fintiri severally criticise his predecessor, Sen. Jibrilla Bindow for taken bailout loans which was distributed by the FG to 35 states Nigeria in 2015.

It is also on record that Bindow has never taken a dime to finance any capital projects in Adamawa during his four years tenure as governor of the state.
