Bindow Mourns Paramount Ruler of Bachama Kingdom
A former Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Jibrilla Bindow has commiserated with the family of retired Colonel Honest Stephen, the Hama Bachama and Paramount Ruler of Bachama Kingdom over the death of the monarch.
In a statement on Sunday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson, Bindow also condoled with the Bachama Kingdom.
“He noted that the late traditional ruler is a very close and personal friend who played the role of a father in my life. We shared very intimate and private moments together; I have lost a Dear friend, a confidant and a brother”
“Zaki as I always call him is a man with strength of character and a unifier in his chiefdom, a traditional ruler in the true sense of it” Bindow added.
Earlier, a spokesman for Bachama Kingdom, Timawus Mathias, said the traditional ruler died in the early hours of Sunday at his palace in Numan.
“Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen is 66 years old,” he said.
