You’re a paper weight, seeking relevance via social media, Fintiri’s aide, Kummangar fires at Senator Abbo

The Director General media to Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa state, Solomon Kummangar has described the Senator representing Adamawa north in the Nigerian senate, Mr Ishaku Abbo, as “a political paperweight in Adamawa,” saying he is not on the ground in his senatorial zone and home state.

Mr Solomon Kummangar said this in a statement on Tuesday in Yola, while reacting to Ishaku false claims of sponsoring some on-going projects in Adamawa north senatorial.

“We have received several media requests for a reaction to the purported social media posts of Ishaku Abbo claiming to be behind most of the numerous projects being executed by His Excellency, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s led government in Adamawa north senatorial district, as reported in the media.

“In reacting, I want to quote a recent comment by comrade Adams Oshiomhole, aptly sums up Abbo’s reported social media achievements: “sermon does not change the heart of the devil, but lesson will surely do”.

“Indeed, all politics is local, we empathise with Abbo on his despair over his political future given the fact that he is not on the ground and a political paperweight in his home state, Adamawa.

“In his emergence as Senator, Abbo was merely used by his political master and aggrieved opposition politicians to unseat Senator Binta in 2019, they have since moved on to pursue their individual political aspirations and left Abbo in the cold,” he said.

Kummangar, however, advised Abbo against his decision to contest any election in Adamawa in future, according to him, a crushing and humiliating defeat awaits him.
