Adamawa pension Boss, Madi condoles with Maduwa over mother’s death
The Chairman, Adamawa state pension board, Thomas T Madi, has commiserated with Adamawa state RIFAN chairman, Dr Stephen Maduwa, over the death of his mother, Mrs Anna Maduwa.
The deceased reportedly passed on in the early hours of Tuesday at 106 years.
In a statement he personally signed, in Yola, Madi described the late matriarch of the Maduwa family as a “patriotic and respected elder stateswoman”, who contributed immensely to the growth and development of the Maduwas.
“We received the news of the demise of your beloved mother, but we are consoled by the fact that she lived a life of dedicated service to her people.
“We share in your sorrow and pains at this period and we pray that God will grant you and the entire family, the courage to bear the loss even as we pray for the repose of the soul of your departed mother.
“On behalf of my family, the Adamawa pension Board, I mourn with my dear brother, Dr. Stephen Maduwa, on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs Anna Maduwa.”
