Sports: Fintiri dissolves state-owned Football Club

The Adamawa State Directorate of Sports Development, on Tuesday, announced the dissolution of the state’s Football Club.

The chief press secretary to Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri, Hunowashi Wunosiko, announced the dissolution in a statement on Tuesday in Yola.

The statement read in parts: “We wish to inform the general public that the management of the State Football Club has been dissolved indefinitely until further notice.

“Further information on the matter will be given as at when due”.

The Directorate also resolved that all issues regarding the activities of the club are at this moment suspended.
