Fintiri Lays Foundation for Public Health Laboratory in specialist Hospital.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has fulfilled one of his promises to the health sector with the foundation laying ceremony of a world-class laboratory in a specialist hospital in Yola.

 

Speaking at the project site in Yola on Friday, Fintiri said his administration was poised to build, furnish and deliver the best health institution in Adamawa.

 

The governor observed that AdamawaAdamawa’s hailed his idea and decision to leave an indelible mark in all governance strata.

 

Fintiri said Adamawa people would be the greatest beneficiaries in terms of employment opportunities the laboratory would offer and the economic activities within the precinct of the institution.

 

He said: “People” are saying what a massive project; what an excellent decision we took. 

 

I’m sure every Adamawa man and woman, even persons who have a clear heart who will not play politics, will know that sitting in the laboratory in a specialist Hospital, Yola is fundamental.

 

“Not only will it help to reduce the number of those who ordinarily will not have the opportunity of having the best health care in Adamawa, but it will also improve the economy of the State. It will also create employment for our people.”

 

The “governor said the laboratory would be part of the state government contribution to the country’s health sector.
