Adamawa youths commence recall proceeding against Goroki.

The concerned Indigenes of Guyuk/Shelleng Stakeholders Forum (CIGS) has threatened to recall the member representing Guyku/Shellnegng in the House of Representative, Gibeon Goroki, over the ongoing face-off between him, PDP and the Governor.

In a statement by its president, Comrade Brother Godel Rarah, the group regretted that the venom was coming from stalwarts of the same political party.

Labelling Goroki’s stewardship as unimpressive, CISG worries that Goroki refuses to contribute to public interest bills such as the Local Government Autonomy Bill and electoral amendment.

The statement reads: “We are disturbed by the frequent face-off between Goroki and his party leaders in Adamawa, which is affecting the good people of Guyuk/Shelleng, considering its adverse effect on the masses.

“We are cognisant of ineffective representation and unqualify leadership by Goroki since we send him to the House of Representative, but it is shocking to see the member representing us at the green chamber formed by the same political party playing opposition between themselves in the name of 2023 party ticket.”

One of the arrowheads, in a statement, said: “We have compiled all necessary documents and we are heading to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the 30th of this month to officially kick-start the process.”

He hinged their decision on the lawmaker’s alleged disrespect to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party and the Governor.

“Instead of him to go back and beg for 2023 ticket he connive with Ishaku Abbo who has no record of laying a single block since he luckily found himself in the senate to cast aspersion on the honesty of Governor Ftiri, “he lamented.
