Adamawa Residents Endorse Fintiri For Second Term

Residents of Adamawa state have endorsed the Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for another term of four years.

They declared their support for the governor when over 15,000 retired civil servants artisans visited the Government House on Thursday in Yola, the state capital.

Fintiri urged Nigerians irrespective of their linguistic and religious affiliation to use their voters’ cards to “sack the non-performing All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government”.

Speaking under the platform of retired civil servants and Pensioners, Mohammed Kabiru assured the governor that active and retired civil servants would vote en masse for him because his development projects had helped their businesses to grow.

Responding to the gesture, Fintiri reassured them of his administration’s commitment to delivering developmental projects to the residents of the state while expressing displeasure over the failure of the past administration to put the state on a glory path when they had an opportunity to do so.

He, however, called on all residents of the state to remain resolute in their commitment to the PDP, saying that they should not fear the evil machinations of the APC.

“Nobody should be afraid of anyone. Anyhow they want it, we are ready. There is nothing like do or die in 2023 election, only God gives power. We believe in God, that is why we always defeat them,” he said.

“Whether they go to the United States of America or North Korea to bring anything, we shall withstand them.

“The only weapon you have is your voter’s card. Mobilise and use your voters’ card, that is the weapon that will remove them from office,” the governor added.
