Adamawa North 2023: Hoodlums attack Buba Shafani’s convoy, injure supporters

Suspected political thugs on Tuesday Afternoon attacked the convoy of the People’s Democratic Party Senatorial aspirant, Buba Shafani, at Vimtim in Mubi North Council area of the state.

The party’s members and supporters were attacked with guns, daggers, and other dangerous weapons on arrival at the town for the leading PDP senatorial aspirant consultative meetings with PDP members in the council area.

“Some supporters were badly injured and vehicles in the convoy were damaged by thugs before the arrival of a detachment of police which overpowered the thugs”.

Shafani confirmed in a short phone conversation with our reporter.
