Adamawa 2023:No gubernatorial aspirants were disqualified-APC, Zonal chairman.

The All Progressive Congress, Northeast Zonal chairman, Comrade Salihu Mustapha has said no APC gubernatorial candidates of the party in Adamawa state were disqualified in the recent exercise of the party in the state.

The rumour disqualification of a former governor of the state, Senator Umaru Jibrilla was riffed penultimate Saturday, that the APC gubernatorial screening committee of the APC has disqualified Umaru Jibrilla.

Speaking to this medium, Salihu described the social media disqualification of any of the APC aspirants as fake and a figment of the imagination of the writer.

“What happens is that the fifth columnist that has been praying for a crisis in the party erroneously imagine that some aspirants were disqualified, however, the fact remain that each page of the screening documents bear an aspirant name, not all the aspirants appearing on the same page, that does not mean any of the aspirants has been disqualified as all the gubernatorial candidates in Adamawa were cleared to participate in the primary, he said
