Adamawa rebirth, PDP stakeholders Set To Receive Fintiri’s running mate As Kaletapwa Holds Rally In Michika.

The People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Michika Chapter, Adamawa rebirth, an Atiku/Fintiri support group is set to receive a running mate to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state, The Finder learnt from multiple sources today.

This is coming on the heels of defection to the PDP by members of the opposition in the Michika local government of Adamawa state.

Kaletapwa, a former chairman, of the Adamawa Universal Basic education board, former commissioner for education and the current Vice Chancellor, Adamawa State University, Mubi was nominated by Governor Fintiri as his running mate in the 2023 governorship polls.

The Finder learnt staunch supporters and members of the APC are likely to be received during the familiarisation tour scheduled to hold in Michika at the weekend. Professor Kaletapwa will lead the rally.

When contacted, the chairman, Adamawa rebirth, ESV Thomas Madi, said they had “routed” the opposition party in the state and Michika local government.

“For example, in Adamawa north, we don’t have ‎any opposition. In Adamawa South, the remnant of the opposition will defect to PDP very soon. 

We have conquered Adamawa North because the PDP has all the political heavyweights from that area in its kitty.

“In Adamawa Central, it is only Senator Aishatu Binani that remains,” he said.

“We are in touch with the people with links to the PDP so that we can easily win the election, We assured Governor Fintiri and his running mate to sleep with their eyes close as all member of the oppostion in Adamawa north has emptied into the PDP

All the APC big fish is already in our net, God willing. We have very high expectations ‎that the APC governorship candidate will soon be with us he said.
