Atiku/Fintiri 2023: Adamawa Rebirth Empowers over 200 Youths in Michika

A group under the auspices of Adamawa Rebirth has deployed a digital knowledge exchange platform that will mobilise and empower young Nigerians with free resources and training to become active citizens and social change leaders.

Executive Chairman of Adamawa Rebirth, Esv. Thomas T. Madi disclosed this Sunday during a youth conversation for a new Nigeria/Adamawa in Michika.

He said, for Adamawa to achieve lasting change, it must sustain the victory of Governor Fintiri beyond 2023 and invest intentionally in capacity development that develops new leaders through collective action.

According to Madi, the project seeks to leverage the increased passion of young Nigerians to re-elect Fintiri and enthrone Atiku Presidency in 2023.

He added that the project is also seeking to ensure that full sensitization and gains of the Fintiri-led government in Adamawa are sustained.

He said: “In a renewed effort to build on some of the lessons from the victory of the governor in 2019, Adamawa rebirth recently launched a partnership to activate new opportunities for young Nigerians/Michika youths that are looking to amplify their voices, access new resources and capabilities that aid their resolve to be change agents and galvanise citizens into the pursuit for a new Nigeria.”

The Executive Chairman explained that the over 200 artisans, market women and youths got 5000 naira for empowerment and engage 20 high-potential youth leaders, who emerged from each ward of the Michika local government.

He maintained that the programme would empower them with key skills, and access to mentorship and networks. He said others would include exposure to institutions and resources that can strengthen their work as change champions.

“We are using this opportunity to seek our youths to vote PDP from top to bottom as the party is the only party that will salvage Nigeria and Adamawa state.

“We will organise youth conversations for new Nigeria and the feats achieved by the governor, a series of town hall consultations designed to create awareness and highlight policy issues of Fintiri administration to youths from communities to campuses. The result of these consultations will be published and used as advocacy material to engage policymakers,,” he added.
