Fintiri Takes gubernatorial Campaign To Guyuk
Governor Ahmadu Umaru of Adamawa state has taken his gubernatorial campaign to the 10 political wards of Guyuk local government of Adamawa state.
At about 11:30 am, the Governor arrived the local government headquarters located in the council capital, where a large crowd of PDP members had already taken their seats awaiting his arrival.
Governor Fintiri was welcomed by the first-class chief of Lungunda and other top officials of the ruling party.
While addressing the people, the Governor promised that his administration if reelected for another term will ensure that massive development and infrastructure are brought to an end in no distant time.
He also promises that his administration if given another chance, will ensure that Guyuk will witness the development of the entire council than it has done since its inception, pleading with electorates to elect him and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Governor also claimed that his administration has lived up to it’s eleven cardinal promises which include tackling insecurity, reviving the economy and free education, in addition to improving the economic fortunes of the state.
Some PDP chieftains at the rally including the PDP presidential campaign Director in Adamawa, Awwal Tukur, Prof. Kaletapwa George, Fintiri’s running mate and the party’s state chairman, AT Shehu also urged the people not to vote for those who crippled the nation’s economy while in office, and however appeal to them to vote enmasse for the PDP in the forthcoming elections.
